  1. Thank you very much Karl, for - noticing this special day - opening up this post - all your comments with sense of humour - always being aware not to turn discussions to this one liquid theme made from hops Thank you John! I did my very best, Graeme... Your wished worked out, Adam! Thanks a lot, Scott. Thank you Iain. A Sunday, followed by bridge & holiday - what else could one need... Gracias Carlos! Thank you Rodger. Time flies, but memories grow. Thanks Ken, I´ll do my best... Kein Problem Wolfgang, ich bin ja auch spät mit dem Dank. Man lebt ja auch ausserhalb dieses Forums! Thank you Wayne, and don´t worry: I followed your advise... Thanks Gumby. We had our children visiting and were able to plan another real-life trip - which already is fabulous. Thank you mate!
  2. Lego was my thing. I still have them all, waiting for the next generation… Some of my friends had Fischer Technik, google it, it was fantastic!
  3. I absolutely agree. Though I have had these issues with p3d (and more with fsx) in the past as well, depending on which high-level-plane to use. And I agree here as well. I am still looking for the full set of study-level planes (and good prop planes like those from A2A), a decent weather program (with historic real weather), PeopleFlow, seasons and much more. MSFS is shiny, but does not make progress towards our old standards.
  4. Great to read all this. We drove from Queenstown via Mossburn and Te Anau, where we fuelled the car (and ourselves with a great belated breakfast). Then you are ready for the Milford Highway... Browse here for your top stops: https://www.southerndiscoveries.co.nz/latest/6-must-see-stops-on-the-road-to-milford/ And for those who like to have a paper map: 11 Road_to_Milford_Sound_Map_2019-1.pdf
  5. A very happy Birthday, Eberhard. Stay in good health and always with humor!
  6. Happy Birthday John and - Jarrad, if you are still here to read this.
  7. OK, I´ll try to cut it short. Milford: Rosco´s Milford Kayaks are already depicted in the scenery, worth a morning tour. You can also take a water taxi with Fjordlandoutdoors, they bring you to the end of Milford track for a relaxing hike (and they also take you back). In Queenstown you may also consider to make a reservation in the Blue Kanu. If you already have some other villages on your itinary, do not hesitate to post the names or screenshots here...
  8. Another post with great shots, thanks! And good to see the recommended flight plan in #3...
  9. Great shots, and good to see the simulator can do winter as well. Though I would not like to make a canoe tour at these conditions...
  10. Have you been in Queenstown before, Graeme? Sure you will drive the new gondola, and book two luge rides as well. There is a good Kiwi encounter Zoo just down the exit of the gondola. Looking for a hike? Drive through Glenorchy to the end of Routeburn Track to walk until Routeburn Flats. Ya must have Pizza at Winnie’s and breakfast at Bespoke Kitchen. More ideas needed?
  11. Looks quite like the real thing. But the better the scenery, the more I miss PeopleFlow…
  12. Thanks for showing these views, Adam.
  13. Good to see such great views. Thank you, Carlos!
  14. Good plan, Graeme. Consider to stay 2 nights in Milford Sound Lodge, to have enough time for hiking, kayaking and the obvious boat tour. Do not forget to reserve tables for dinner in their fabulous restaurant.

  16. Fantastic shots Adam. My plan for the weekend is made…
  17. Amazing teasers, Adam. I have got to go there someday… Oh, been there. What a fantastic reminder!
  18. Yes, happy birthday mate! Hope you see it here, we’ll have to look for you at avsim…
  19. Great shots. I have only been at 3 of these places…
  20. I also forgot warthog and brown snake eagle. Millipede. Lorikeet. And what is this one?
  21. Let me start with some southern hemisphere countries... New Zealand: Kea, pukeko, blue duck, weka, takahe, seal, opossum (doesn´t really count, does it?), white heron Australia: Koala, wallaby, parrot, saltwater croc, freshwater croc, turtle, unknown little sharks & snakes, huntsman spiders (and some unknown), the lovely outback flies (there is no singular for them), reef fishs (e. g. clown fish), australian blue penguin, pelican, cassowary, unidentified lizards, kookaburra, dolphin, humpback whale, dingo South Africa: Giraffe, elephant, wildebeest, black & white rhino, leopard, vultures, baboon, impala, springbok, sable, zebra, hippo, fish eagle, african penguin, ostrich, african seal I am sure I have forgotten some. And, yes, I have taken photos of all of them.
