Thanks Wayne . Indeed, so many events here are being cancelled as a sign of respect.

Oh dear! That seems a pity. Never mind Wayne. There are worse things to spend your money on .

Many thanks Mikee .

Thank you Jack . It's odd really, I was going to do a flight and shots from Chicago today. But I couldn't get into the right mood. So, I decided to create this small tribute.

Many thanks John .

This Week's Meaningless Topic (#105)(Sept 9)
paulb replied to Rodger Pettichord's topic in The Neil Hill Memorial Lounge
None. Just flight sims, photoshop (for my other hobby photography) and the usual MS Office etc. -
Queen Elizabeth II 1926-2022 Balmoral Castle and Buckingham Palace (Orbx GB North and London Landmarks in MSFS)

She was a remarkable lady. Her service and devotion to her country is unparalleled. Our Queen, the peoples Queen, was our greatest ever monarch.

That's very generous of you John .

Thank you Landon . I enjoyed taking them. One funny thing, a bit like an 'Easter Egg', if you go into the Olympic hangar which is towards the end of the airport (seen in my shot 6 above), then there are three people break dancing on a table! Clearly the developer has a sense of humour .

I can remember Fleet Defender by Microprose Rob. Back in 1994, it was the first time that I saw aircraft markings on a plane in a sim. I was in awe! I agree Jack. This is a friendly forum (unlike some others). I was just getting frustrated by the stupid 'judgements' that I was reading elsewhere. A bit like "mine is bigger than yours" and so on. Hence my post.

You are certainly going for dramatic shots today Iain

Very nice Jack . Indeed, the HJet has top drawer avionics. -
Very dramatic Iain!

Thanks Jack . Indeed, I do find myself increasingly looking for the most detailed airports with MSFS. They are so easy to explore with the drone.

Don't answer this question!!!!! I was looking on another forum recently about the release of X Plane 12. Gosh, I could not believe the negative and comparison comments about what is still effectively a beta. It does annoy me! My opinion - all sims are great! Even earlier versions like FS 2004, which I still have. What 'makes' the sim for me is the add-ons. Be it scenery, aircraft, AI traffic, whatever. For every sim that I have used in the past 20 years I always look for add-ons (both payware and freeware) to make the experience better. These add-ons have transformed my experience in the simulator and I am very grateful to all developers for their hard work. Just saying.........................

Orbx partners - Aerosoft CRJ 700 and FlyTampa LGAV Athens International Airport in MSFS. Athens International Airport is the largest international airport in Greece. It is located about 12 miles (20 km) to the east of central Athens A great airport and area to explore .

Many thanks Iain .

Thank you Landon . Indeed. they have released TE GB for P3D. I have all of their EU scenery (and most of the rest of the world regions) in P3Dv4. But they released TE GB for XP11 first. That caused me to purchase XP11. Having bought it once, I couldn't see any point in buying it for P3D. So, the shots simply reflect what is on my pc
