  1. The new Vienna Airport looks very good. However noticed a problem I dont know if it has with the scenery or MSFS to do with. When requesting taxi I use the blue arrow support to get to the runway. At this airport you never get directions from ATC which route to take to runway and no blue arrows. There is a lot of AI-live traffic at this airport. However imediately after AI have asked for IFR Clearence they all are deleted, never taxi to runway. And landing AI gets deleted right after landing never taxi to gate. Any ideas if this a bug in MSFS or Orbx Scenery? I have also reported this to Zendesk. Best regards Jan
  2. When parking the Magknight B787-900 at position F01 there are 2 jetways available, one named "jetway", the other one "F01" (image 1). For the left front door there are both connections available (images 2&3). For the 2nd door on the left side only a connection with "F01" is available (image 4), but "F01" is too far away so it brakes apart when connecting (image 5).

  7. I was impressed by a flight from Vienna to Innsbruck recently shown here in this forum, so I had to repeat it... in the same livery, of course. With a little mountain panorama... The Inntal to my right, waiting for a Dash to enter: I was lucky to get the easy approach: Straight into the 26. Mmmh, those mountains in the background are already waiting for the skiing season...
  8. A 777 training flight from Athens to Vienna over beautiful OpenLC EU. The airports are anhanced by 3rd parties, cities & land are FTXG. The Danube river in Hungary: Vienna city, downwind:
  9. Hello Everyone! ... well then: Almost all the reinstall and new install procedures are done and so: Time to go flying again! I am very much impressed by the way how Central and Northern Europe now appeare with all the new FTXGlobal textures in use. They really add lots of realism regarding diversity, shapes and colourtones. ORBX: You did a great job here! And so far i had encountered no issues with 3rd party scenery add-ons! Reasons enough so to take a flight from my local area Vienna to the city of Berlin and trying to „redo“ a flight in the sim from „real life“ when i was a passanger flying with Air Berlin. One thing in advance: The plane i was flying with in „the real world“ was an Airbus from Air Berlin/Niki actually, but as Air Berlin uses the 737-8 frequently for its flights between LOWW and EDDT and as i just always enjoy flying the NGX so very much and do not own any 3rd party Airbus add-ons for FSX yet, i thought it okay to redo the flight with the NGX in the sim. Further add-ons in use here were as follows: The fantastic FlyTampa version of Vienna’s International Airport in Schwechat, LOWW UTX Europe (with some disabled features though) Aerosoft’s also very nicely modelled Berlin Tegel international Airport, EDDT REX Textures and OPUS REX Natural ENB in use Everyone, please enjoy! Cheers, Christoph P.S.: The flightroute was: LOWW - LANUX UL858 RISUK UT204 RODUX T204 NUKRO - EDDT The time of departure in the sim was set to the early morning, just around 6AM Central European summer time (The real flight took place later on actually) Taking off from RW29 via the LANUX 2C SID which will actually get us pretty close along the southern edges of Vienna, but at first … the refinery at Schwechat. Sure anything but beautiful, but also sure one of the most remarkable „landmarks“ close to the airport … and now: The „real thing“ … an accumulation of rails just next to Vienna’s „Zentralfriedhof“ (Central Cemetery) ... and again all that „from within reality“ … As You can see: FlyTampa’s LOWW blends almost perfectly with the FTXGlobal textures here. Clearly visible here as well in the back: The Danube while it crosses Vienna approx. 1900 kilometers before reaching its delta and flowing into the Black Sea where it will have crossed ten countries in total by then ... looks like the FSX-rendition of „Schloss Schönbrunn“ (Schönbrunn Palace) here ... one of Vienna's main touristic hot spots for sure! ... and here it is "for real" ... leaving Vienna behind us now ... and just a little while later we have already crossed the border towards the Czech Republic near Znojmo and continue heading north. Two shots from the sim and one from reality … and now some views from Berlin on arrival into EDDT’s RW08 and as it appeared in the sim. Quite well visible here: Berlin’s no longer in use Tempelhof airport, which is very nicely modelled in the FSX+Acceleration package by default. It also fits perfectly into the surrounding FTXGlobal urban textures environment here. The great thing is, that in reality a very large part of this former airport area with all its old run- and taxiways is open to public nowadays and lots of people use it for jogging, cycling, kite flying or kite skating - and much more, or to just hang out a bit and relax. On my "real world flight" i did not see this particular area of Berlin, so i can't show You any "rael world" photos from it inparticular here … there are lots of rivers and lakes in and around Berlin and they surely add a lot of nice and unique atmosphere to this – in my opinion – absolutely fantastic, vivid and pulsating city ... two window views while on final in the sim … and one from reality … on glideslope just prior to disengaging the autopilot and landing manually. In the background by the way, sadly just barely visible, but in fact there: The iconic TV tower at Berlin’s Alexanderplatz and its closer surroundings … alright then: Welcome to Berlin!
