Hi everyone,

In the midst of my current large NCA project, I decided to take over this long overdue project and complete it for all you to enjoy! Originally developed by Scott Armstrong and Magnus Almgren, I have been completing this project over the last couple of weeks. So without further ado, I'd like to introduce you to this charming pair of airports near the edge of CRM, soon to be yours :)

Cle Elum Muni is a quaint little GA field located near the edge of the Cle Elum river a stone throw away from the famous Mount Rainier in Washington, and is the perfect base for flights to the Cascades, as well as an ideal stopover for cross country flights from the Pacific Northwest to the Central Rockies. The airfield is packed with details, and includes CreatureFlow, snow on the roofs during winter, and all new grass and trees which complete the atmosphere of this charming valley paradise! This package also includes a fully modelled rendition of DeVere Airfield, a private field only a short flight away from Cle Elum.

This will soon be entering testing so expect a release quite soon!

Holy mackerel, what a great start on the day! Looking very much forward to this release in PNW, many thanks Misha for taking this on your shoulders. Now we only need Spokane in P3Dv2. My new computer and I can hardly wait any longer...

Is it just me or do the FSX shots look more realistic. I've heard some people say that P3D looks cartoon-like but never really thought so myself. Seeing these screen shots of the same field in the 2 sims back to back I'm inclined to agree. It's not the scenery (which is fantastic Misha), it's the lighting.

Now, where did I leave my wallet?

Just a small question: P3D has this "elevation bug" which alters FSX placements the higher the elevation. If LM repairs this bug do original P3D airports with high elevtions like Cle Elum or even Lake Tahoe need a reworking?

Yes unfortunately so, although in P3D its not the objects that shift, but the actual PR itself, and so it appears that all the objects have shifted. This only happens with tessellation enabled (which is pretty much essential for P3D), but I personally don't see it being fixed in any 2.x versions fortunately, so it may be a while before we have to start fixing them up again.

Cheers
