My favourite modern airliner, Airline and currently place to fly.

This was only going to be a few caps of the 777 taking off but I got so engrossed with the scenery that I carried on.

1.pizXZ.jpg

Lift off from Narita Airport, Tokyo, with the town of Narita to the right.

2.ariIx.jpg

Over Tokyo with the Chiba Marine Stadium in view.

3.wNEhk.jpg

Tokyo Harbour with Haneda Airport. Kawasaki is just beyond the airport. The mouth of the Arakawa River is at the bottom.

4.kSICi.jpg

Leaving the metrolopis of Tokyo behind with Hiratsuka on the right and Atsugi below the T7.

5.L3FQ.jpg

A night view of the same area. Does anyone else get these "cotton balls" when they pause with the contrails visible and do they know a fix?

6.LiRYt.jpg

Fujiyama with Lake Yamanaka to the right.

7.uF1yJ.jpg

A close up of the 777-212. I think I am right in saying that this is the only Star Alliance painted aircraft that retains it's airlines tail logo.

8.VvXEe.jpg

The Ogawa River is to the right with the Ikawa Dam to the left.

9.0thvo.jpg

Lake Hamana is just above the T7 with Hamamatsu to the left and Toyohashi on the nose.

10.TCMul.jpg

Over Ise Bay passing Tsu. Mikawa Bay is in the distance.

11.saq4K.jpg

Osaka is ahead.

12.MVxYN.jpg

Another massive urban area of Osaka. Kansai Airport sits in Osaka Bay. Lake Biwa is in the distance.

Just for once I set the visibility to unlimited as I was flying at 30,000 ft although I do prefer some haze.

The contrails give away the changes in altitude as I am flying without the auto pilot set and too busy admiring the scenery.

Straight caps with slight cropping.
