The grass runway 20R is hard to spot. But it works!

Great floatplane trip Gerold. Only problem is you did not have any water landings in said floatplane ;) I love a good water landing (and takeoff!). Otherwise, some more great shots from the Travels of Gerold :)

Thank you Landon. Sorry, I have been too impatient to make an intermediate landing...

nice shots and trip Gerold, I did expect you to end in a water landing though...

Thanks Wayne. As said above, I was too impatient to see what´s around the next corner to make a landing.

Ah, I forgot the duck-s, Karl. And I hurried towards the next winery in Nelson, that´s why I did not get out on the pontoon during the flight looking for potential leaks.

PS: That reminds me of the air acrobats about 100 years ago, when they were climbing outside of the planes - something we can´t simulate. Yet.

Those grass strips are hard to spot and difficult to land. Well done mate,  great set

Graeme :)

Indeed, going down there felt a bit like a risk. A virtual risk, luckily...
