Stillwater
Why not try a small parking lot, if you can master it? Consider it a training… 1

TerribleT
Mate of mine in 1960s TPNG was an AnsettAOPNG Captain F27 (very experienced WWII bomber pilot, 20 years TPNG airline experience) and in horrible weather in New Britain Island landed at a small airport same Rway headings a few miles away from his regional airport destination - he promptly took off and went to his proper destination! The powers that be wanted to ground him but he got away with a stiff fine and demotion to right hand seat cargo DC3 runs for 2 years. He didn't mind - loved those DC3s and no PAX to worry about .
