I recommend you set your joy stick controls to a linear set up per the Kodiak manual, (0%) variation from linear. I had a 14% dead zone from I know not where, but it gave insufficient control authority & I managed some spectacular left snap prangs on take off. Also, hold in plenty of right rudder, & if possible try & avoid full throttle take offs as she has a massive left hook that will catch you out if you aren't watching for it.
