Eberhard Haberkorn
A flight from the port Lüderitz (FYLZ) along the coast to Walvisbay (FYWB) with a freshly painted DC-3 in the colors of Rovos Air, a luxury way t travel by air. I am not entirely happy with the paint, as it is my first experiment with PBR. The paint has far too much metallic reflection to my liking. But I still want to share the beauty of the southern coast of Namibia.
jankees
I took a trip through Namibia once, beautiful place. I would love to see photoreal scenery of the Namib-Naukluft area And your paint isn't bad either I think. Is this v4.5 or v5?
Ian St
Very nice, and the paintwork looks good too.

I am not happy with the metallic effect on the painted areas. Is the reflectivity governed by the alpha channel?

Stillwater
Fantastic views, Ebo. You remember I did the same flight in the same machine - but not in such a great livery! Do not forget to share this beauty once you are pleased with it! @jankees: You can see the Namib here:

I will upload it to Avsim. I will ditch the PBR until I got it figured out. It drives me nuts not knowing what I am doing. Dr Google is also not too helpful either. Trial and error, that is how I learn everything about configuring and using the sim as well. Painful, but also rewarding .
Eberhard Haberkorn
That is how I learn too. You are right it feels great once you got the breakthrough.
