renault Posted October 26, 2019 Share Posted October 26, 2019 Just a couple test shots with the new vegetation and tree set. I particularly like the wide variety of vegetation - tree types and shades. Most of all they are a lighter resource load (gpu & cpu )which is always a benefit. I used a previously saved flight in TE Washington HD ( flying out of concrete Muni ) for this test. Although I have my system locked at 30 fps using adaptive vsync, compared to the previous flight using the Orbx default tree and vegetation set I noticed that my gpu usage dropped by about 20-25% and gpu temperature dropped about 6deg C. In addition I gained about 100 MHz on average cpu clock speed compared to the previous flight. I appreciate your kind comments After reading a recent comment by JV and the project description it appears that something else must be influencing what I am experiencing as TF trees are already part of the TE regions so I should not have seen any change in the these regions.
