Jack Sawyer
P3D 4.5 Orbx Global, Vector, Europe LC, Trees, Buildings Weather - AS4 Season, fall. This challenging flight takes us from a challenging airport in its own right, the world famous Courcheval, LFLJ to Annecy, LFLP, France. Nestled in some beautiful mountains. Needed every inch of this runway. It looks tiny behind us. I like seasons in P3D, it's magical. Those mountains, so beautiful. Amazing scenery, really amazing Coming around for the approach. Using the GTN for RNAV guidance. I can almost smell the fall foliage. On final. Not too difficult.

I saw Carlos's post earlier and it was fall. So I was pleasantly surprised to see it change in my sim, I guess 1 September is the day it turns. Very nice, very very nice. I do too, I forgot how cool it actually was till it changed on 1 September. XP's TE is great and I like it but no seasons. I understand why so it's no big deal, hence keeping both sims. Each has some nice strengths.

I only use P3D but not having seasons alone is why I probably won't be investing in the TE series except for maybe in places that don't have too many seasonal changes... This is only one of many reasons I keep P3D. I wish XP had seasons, never understood why Laminar didn't do this. Such is life though.
