LSPN Triengen Airport Coming Soon to FSX & P3D!

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone!

This summer the heat has reached record highs - luckily senior developer Andreas Hegi has a brand new airport to cool you down a little!

LSPN Triengen Airport is the first Swiss venture for Andreas, whose previous work includes classic airports such as Darrington, Orcas Island and Milford Sound. Not only do you get LSPN Triengen Airport in this pack, but it also includes a bonus airfield which is nestled amongst beautiful landscapes in Central Switzerland complete with rolling hills and sparkling lakes. This is a particularly special airport for the developer as Andreas actually lives in the area, so lots of time has been spent meticulously crafting small details which really bring it to life. He has even done all of the photography for R&D, having got permission to access both airfields!

Absolutely awesome.  What I see a as a bit of a disappointment is that the ground textures of the surroundings will not be matching the Ch Prof for P3Dv4. Why you guys don't publish a new Phototexture Scenery for Switzerland first. The newly released CHProf is still with ground textures of 2006 :(

I certainly don't disagree @MartinM Switzerland with the ORBX treatment would be incredible and is something I hope for.

I guess if they went down that path Orbx would then be in the position of possibly reducing the traffic to CH Prof, which might be hurtful to the devs who obviously put a lot of work and money into it.

Presumably LSPN will be compatible and fit right in with Open LC EU, FTX Global or both so maybe best used with that?
