VH-KDK
Invercargill is the starting point of a flight to Queenstown and for ease of navigation I will be following State Highway 6 1. The Piaggio P.166 at Invercargill. 2. Invercargill and the New River Estuary. 3. The Oreti River with Stewart Island on the horizon. 4. Picking up Hwy 6 at Winton with the Oreti River. 5. Between Benmore and Dipton. 6. 7. At Lumsden and the junction with Hwy 94. 8. Approaching Lake Wakatipu and the town of Kingston. 9. On the left, The Remarkables are mostly hidden in low cloud. 10. The PAPI lights at NZQN can just be seen 11. About to touch down with the Frankton Arm behind. 12. The end of the flight and time to grab a cuppa. I hope you enjoyed the flight. paulb
Great flight and narrative Martyn! Well done! . You don't see a Piaggio here very often. I thought that they made scooters!

I thought that they made scooters! Thank you Pau and you are quite right about the scooters although the aviation side of Piaggio went it's own way in 1964.
