Long flight across the PNW Part 1

Jack Sawyer

Recommended Posts

Thanks to Roger @Wakashi, he set up this route for me in the GTN a couple of months ago and just today decided to fly it.  Bozeman to Bowerman.

Two parts like Stewart because there's a lot of shots.

Everything is 100% Orbx, AS4 weather, real time real weather.

I love the snowstorm

Holy Smokies , these look great Jack . If you were looking for snow today , there was some a lot closer to you in Florida . :):D:o:ph34r::(

Cheers

John

Thanks John!  I saw that.  South Georgia is gonna get 2 inches!  But sadly not us.  The ground is frozen solid now so it would stick but no precipitation in the forecast.  I wish we'd get some snow, like a foot.  I can dream cain't I?

Looks like you have some golfball size snowflakes there Jack, better be careful. :D  Nicely done once again! :)

I thought so too Adam, it was great at the airport then stopped after takeoff.

Lovely shots, Jack. And it is really great to see the Lancair here - I use it all the time for scenery testing (I actually found myself looking at these and thinking "I don't remember that flight"!)

Thanks Andy!  Thant's funny, I think it's be my go to test lane now too.

And a big thanks to Roger for setting me up with this flight, he really knows his airways!  Thanks @Wakashi

Love it Jack! Some wonderful scenery between these 2 great airports!

Thanks Tim!  It was 500+ miles but with the A/P on it was enjoyable, especially seeing the GTN follow the actual real-world airways.  I loved it!

That is a long haul but I bet it was great! Did you have a thermos of hot chocolate for the flight?
