Jack Sawyer Posted August 27, 2017 Share Posted August 27, 2017 P3D 4 - Orbx everything and maxed out too. Made a nice flight with AS4 & ASCA weather on from default KSAN to Camp Pendleton. I understand how they work together. Today I purchased and installed PTA and also downloaded the free presets for PTA from the REX site. If I want to use one of these presets in PTA, what do I do next? Should I do that before I go to Rex4 and then P3D? I tried to read their help guide but it seemed to cover the more complex areas and not the basics. Any advice from you (or anyone else reading) would be appreciated. Cheers Paul Hi Paul, just got on the forum now. As Adam Banks described it to me one is shaders and one is textures. PTA is shaders and REX is textures. So you can install PTA any time you want to. I'd recommend using Adam's preset first and then experimenting with REX's. In my opinion they have way too many presets, it confuses me and if you mix and match sky sets what good are their presets unless I'm missing something. You can install either or in any order.
