Jack Sawyer
Outstanding! I loved the way you made it as real as possible with the maps and route. Great piloting!
petejohno
That FSW learjet is some addon. Now my favorite aircraft. Just can't stop flying it.
Bermuda425
Impressive Scott! Glad you filed your flight plan with LEIDOS in that IMC weather. I expected to comment from the wintery Connecticut to the sunny Myrtle Beach, but that was obviously a wrong anticipation. Na, maybe next time to Fort Myers! scottb613
Hi Folks, Thanks for all the great comments - yeah - I try to approach each flight as if I'm flying it for real... LOL - usually Myrtle Beach is an escape from the winter doldrums - a huge golf destination - not this day... The Lear just looks like it's going a million miles an hour even when sitting still... Same boat Pete - since picking this plane up for a mere $18.00 USD (which now I feel guilty about as it's easily worth Carenado's most expensive plane with half the frustration) all other planes have stagnated on my PC... I've got almost 40 hours on the hobbs and like it more with every new flight... My inspiration for the paint: Regards, Scott
PDX Flyer
Great set of shots Scott. Just bought this plane last month (2 days before she went on half price sale -- bad timing) and so far am enjoying it immensely. She is one rock and roll beast to fly. petejohno
What is that program your using for charts etc scott ?
scottb613
Hi Folks, Thanks for the responses... PDX - sorry you missed the sale - they do have them often... FSW is now working on a Falcon 50 that given their history - will be even better than the Lear (as hard as that seems)... Man - I've been looking forward to a Vauchez (FlightZone) class KPDX for P3D since FS9 - I heard rumor someone is working on one... Beautiful area and I'm an East Coast guy... Pete - as far as the EFB goes - If you live and fly in North America - FltplanGO - is the best thing since sliced bread - if not - not so much... Unfortunately - It's only available in North America... Anyone can use the website - but the tablet downloads are only available in respective regional stores... It is the only FREE geo-referenced source of approach plates (your aircraft position is displayed on approach plates and taxi diagrams) I'm aware of... Normally - geo-referenced is an expensive option to your RW EFB subscription... FltPlanGO is a real world flight planner favored by the commercial community (bizjet and smaller) that includes connections to Apple, Android, and Windows tablets for FSX/P3D/XP - in addition - the website has flight/fuel planning profiles built for just about every GA and bizjet known to man... It doesn't cost a dime for anything if you live in their coverage area... petejohno
Thanks Scott. That looks like a great program. Unfortunately I live and fly mostly in Australia so not an option. The approach plates were of main interest to me. I can get the plates but I would like a program that can store them and open in a window.
