Jack Sawyer
Nice shots and I fly there almost every day. Alaska has to be my favorite, but you make flying that DC-3 easy! I have the freeware C47 and it's difficult to fly without an engine fire.

Kodiak73
Iain, Bernd, Voyager, Jack and RJ, thank you all for the nice comments, I definitely appreciate it !! Jack, this is the freeware C-47 V3. I just make sure that I leave the cowl flaps open fully all the time and don't ever have a fire.

But tail draggers are always a little more difficult to get used to.

Stillwater
Great airplane in a fantastically created region. PS: You can also play with throttle, rpm and mixture to keep the engines alive - at the maximum speed. Cowl flaps you will need when climbing high or for a long time. Kodiak73
Jack, Taph, Gerold and John, thanks again, it always puts a smile on my face when people like my screenshots !! Jack, just remember to not keep it at full throttle for too long, and like Stillwater said you gotta kind of baby the engines. For a freeware piece of software, this plane is remarkable and very close to the quality and realism of all of my A2A planes with Accusim.
Jack Sawyer
Thanks Kodiak and Stillwater for the advice on flying that beautiful free plane. The engine fires have kept me from flying her. Gotta copy and paste your advice and print it out for when I fly it as its a stunning piece of work. I think it would be perfect for the SCA I'm fixin' in buying today. Adam has me absolutely sold after seeing his stunning shot over the Hoover dam.
Kodiak73
Jack, you'll really like SCA, which reminds me, I need to do some more flying there myself.

I just installed it and was using AS16, A2A's 182 and making a flight from LAX to San Diego. Ten miles out from LAX I start getting OOM chimes in P3D 3.2. First time ever in P3D! What the heck? I gotta look at some FTX settings now. I already have Vector dialed back quite a bit so this in rather unsettling.
Kodiak73
Yeah, I've heard there are some bad areas for that, and I think you picked'em both.
