Alberta to Northwest Territories

Nice pics man! I see that specific real-world aircraft in person a handful of times a year where I work. Thankfully it's usually not in a S&R situation. It truly is amazing how little runway those old Buffalo's need to get airborne.

Great shots that give an excellent idea of the flatness and size of the area. The video is impressive too, the De Havilland aircrafts are unbeatable when it comes to taking-off with a huge payload on a very short runway.

Great video and great shots, Bermuda. Not so inviting weather though. :)

Thanks and thanks RJ! Glad not to sit in the open cockpit of an old biplane...

I would love to see a detailed rendition for flight simulation. You're totally right, so much to admire on this aircraft. Thanks for looking!

A real sense of the vastness and beauty of Alberta and the N.T in these superb shots . Given all the lousy WX in your post , you might give this program a try :

Thanks a lot for looking and the tip John! I heard about the package several times and found it at the time to set it in stone on my to-buy list ;D

Well said, thy wings lift off before the front gear does, this is amazing. Merci bien for your nice comment!

A wonderful sight with your herd of Buffalo on the plains Bermuda, great set.

Excellent video too, typical excellent STOL from DHC, some of the best planes around.

Thanks ya! An interesting plane, the uploader catches them every time the come in at his local airport in BC. There's a complete start up above.

;)

Crystal clear image in the video.  I can see you are on a Canadian mission.

True, the mission heads up north as far as Larry's freeware airports allow until openLC US gets released and then quick down and check out some more of Neil's airports.
