Wondering if there is a way to suggest small additions to the guys at Turbulent designs to include....runway 34 lead-in strobes. I put up this question in October last year and no response: "Wondering if the Orbx YMML scenery has the lead in strobes for runway 34 and if so how do I activate them please. All other taxiway, runway and approach lighting for rwy 27 and 16 is working fine. Thanks for great scenery by the way!!!! Regards, Martin YBLT I can't see any evidence in the chart that there are lead in strobes for R34. I see them for R27 and R16 only. Unless I can't read the chart properly. After reinstalling Vector recently, and realizing after the start of taxi that I had mountains sitting between the taxiways, I quickly fixed that, but those textures...man, those textures. I'm also hoping the performance increases a bit. It tends to get a little slow-loading flying in and out of YMML, but I won't look a gifthorse in the mouth, YMML is a nice airport to have in the sim. The three sequenced white lead in strobes are certainly there in real life at runway 34 as a way of identifying YMML from the nearby YMEN from the air as the layout of the runways is very similar and the airports are quite close. Please have a look at this chart that shows the position and describes the function. http://www.airservicesaustralia.com/aip/pending/dap/MMLAD01-146.pdf The coordinates of the strobes are as follows: -37.687354, 144.841286 -37.688794, 144.841562 -37.690120, 144.841812 I think the repeat frequency is every 1 second but don’t hold me to that. I could not find this detail on the web, only from my memory and direct observation. I certainly hope they can be included somehow into this latest update.
