VH-KDK
Did a couple of flights in the default 738 this week. It is a relatively easy plane to operate for me. There are several Australian liveries out there including some old favourites. I have also brought the TSS CFM-56 to improve the sound which it does no end. First flight is from Ayres Rock to Cairns. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. The second flight was much shorter, from Cairns to Hamilton Island. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. Come to the conclusion that the simpler jets are the best option for me. Hope you enjoyed looking.

I have these pay ware aircraft (PMDG, Captain Sim, Just Flight, etc.) that I, basically, never used because you spend 30+ minutes just to take off. I want to jump in and fly. No wonder I'm stuck with my Britten-Norman BN-2. Flip some switches here and there and off you go. Your post reminded me that FSX gives us less complicated jets to fly. gumbypickett
Wow I love those shots KDK. The Virgin 738 who is that from, and is it a straight forward install without having to mess around with changing files etc? (not to good at that) cheers Gumby
Stillwater
Great scenery shots, Martyn. Though I spoil the party here, saying I like the satisfaction of managing a complicated plane on longer tours like these...

Ah ha, so I am not the only one. The Islander is an excellent and versatile plane. Easy to fly and great sound set too. 22 hours ago, BradB said: +1 - Ctrl-E is as far as I got on the learning curve Martyn .
