  1. Beautiful captures Carlos! My favorite time to fly in MSFS
  2. Surfing near the pier on Padre Island, TX. I came ashore, walked to the end of the pier to watch the fishermen and saw a 12' hammerhead shark caught. I was just out there with it!! One other time diving and spear fishing I had a fish on the spear when a 6' blue shark swam right in front of my nose!
  3. I'm one of them. Skeptical at first it allows me to manage what is active in my Community folder with a few clicks. and turn on/off what I want or don't want upon launch of the sim. It also has an option that I use to first start LittleNavMap, love it.
  4. Sign me up too. I golf and should probably do more of it!
  5. I'm sort of with you too Don. P3Dv5 is not giving me any problems and looks great. Plus it has lot's of great aircraft that I enjoy. Right now for MSFS I'm pretty much avoiding the Community folder altogether. I did create an outside the sim folder for Orbx addons (via Orbx Central) and don't install any addons directly into the sim, either P3D or MSFS. Some addons specify they must go into the sim itself but I don't use any of them. Enjoy your sim, I know I do.
  6. Hi Don, Curious why you want a Community Orbx folder. Orbx addons are generally installed to your main Community folder by default unless you have created an outside library in OC and point the installer to that folder. Is it for mods that are related to Orbx products?
  7. Growing up across the bay from San Francisco in the 60's I was treated to free, live concerts at Golden Gate Park with Jefferson Airplane, Grateful Dead playing often. Most fun concert in recent times was in Seattle August 2019 to see the Rolling Stones! Amazing performance. Saw them at Altamont Pass in 1969 too but the Seattle one was the best.
  8. Love it Gerold! I grew up just SE of Oakland and know all these areas well, great captures. Hope you have enough money for a drink after paying the landing fees at KSFO!
  9. All really good Carlos. My favs were at TORP, something about that sceneries interior. I've done a lot of flying IRL but spent for time in the terminals than in the air! lol
  10. 1969 NAS Corpus Christi, TX Wheels up landing in a S2 on a foamed runway.
  11. Really nice Gerold! I've flown over some of these areas IRL but have been to all of them on the ground at one time or another. Such varied topography in California for sure. Climbing to the top of Half Dome probably tops my list of exciting adventures around here.
  12. Enjoyed seeing my hometown airport and our local "hottie". Couple weeks ago it was 45 C Sure glad we have lots of lakes and the Sacramento River to cool off!
  13. Bring back a few pictures for us Landon! Enjoy
  14. I'd have to say the Carr Fire here near Redding, CA (KRDD) in 2018. Many friends lost homes and we had to evacuate for a time as well. Watched a hurricane come ashore in Corpus Christi in 1969 at NAS Corpus Christi TX. That was interesting!
  15. I workout at the local YMCA 4-5 days/week, garden, take walks, swim a bit.
  16. Thanks for the reminder Derek. I'm pretty active for an old fart, but my bleeping watch nags me if I've sat for anything over an hour (like even one minute!)
  17. I live 10 minutes south of Lake Shasta and it's really low for sure. Smokey too.
  18. Chicken fried steak, one egg sunny side up, hash browns, biscuit w/gravy, strong coffee. O, and maybe a side of heart Doctor.
  19. The combo of exploding sausages and mash would be a lethal combination! What I want to know is who came up with mushy peas? (actually pretty good, had them in Ireland a few years ago)
  20. 6. Other Beans not leaves for me too. Besides once I found out tea was just camellia bush I lost interest. (Have to admit a cup of sun brewed Lipton's is pretty good on occasion)
  21. Keep em coming Rodger! I always read them, sometimes chime in. Great fun
