thanks all for the comments, very happy so far with the reinstall, can't use v5 as it won't start so that's removed for now but I have enough choice anyway with all the other sims loaded on my PC....

Orbx scenery ASP3D default plane just a tester flight after reinstallation of p3dv4.5+, had an issue with a drive and did a format and started again, just aimlessly flying around and looking out the window, oh and smiling cause I like the view.......
