  1. We are extremely thrilled to share with you a preview of our very first destination in the USA. Located in North-East USA close to the Rhode Island coast. It's all in the details! - We have lovingly recreated this airport and surroundings in high detail with a custom-made PBR ground-poly ("projected mesh"), detailed and accurate static aircraft, animated local ground service cars, accurate USA-type roads around the island and much much more! Just to make it clear- this is a brand new development of Gaya. More details and full features lists- soon! (the obvious- fully custom made and handcrafted groundpolygon/projected mesh with PBR, animated GSE, animated flags and another cool stuff, custom made local static aircrafts, custom and authentic roads textures and materials around the island....and much much more!)
  2. Have just purchased Southern California. After flying Northern California, I am very disappointed San Diego International Airport is unflyable. Runways 27, 6 has ridges in at least 2-3 places across runway. No terminals. No static scenery or aircraft. Scenery at end of 27 looks awful. No ships. San Diego is a major Naval port - no 3D Naval Ships (one lame looking Aircraft Carrier) After such a great job on Northern California and particularly with KSEA and KSFO (and surrounds) not happy. Word Traffic does not work as well. Nothing seems to be defined (parking and traffic).
  3. I need some advise as to which has the higher priority of the two systems in the fsx library?
  4. hi want to know if it's different between FS Global Ultimate - Next Generation and base and vector which I have? best wishes IGAL BEYGEL
  5. Hello all, This is the 7S3.002 patch which adds the Orbx ObjectFlow tech to Bill Womack's iconic Twin Oaks Airpark. The Objectflow DLL is very lightweight with no FPS impact. In this instance Bill is using it to automatically control the seasonal variations of his custom modelled vegetation at his airport. INSTALLATION - Ensure you have the RTM and the 7S3.001 patch installed *before* installing this 7S3.002 patch - Just run the FTXUS7S3100_Patch_002.exe - It will automatically register the new ObjectFlow_7S3.dll with FSX - When you run FSX again, answer 'Yes' to the prompts about the DLL Now when you change seasons, Bill's custom modeled trees will now match the PNW autogen trees without needing any Control Panel selection. Also note that the 7S3 control panel has been updated with this patch to remove the custom season selection, since it's now longer needed. >http://fullterrain.com/support.html#7S3 Enjoy!
  6. Hello all, 7S3 Twin Oaks is now released to pre-pay customers! A HUGE congrats to Bill Womack on his beautifully crafted debut airport for Orbx. We are excited to have Bill working with our team and there's plenty more to come from this FS veteran developer. We're looking forward to the first batch of screenshots! Retail full release will be tomorrow morning at 7am AEST
  7. Hello all, The 7S3 Stark's Twin Oaks installer is on its way to the CDN, should be about 3+ hours away! Here's your last chance to pre-pay and enjoy the 24-hour exclusive gloating period The download size is 354MB, which is a little bitty baby sized ZIP compared to PNW. We foresee zero download issues, especially given the trouble-free general launch of PNW retail. I have attached the User Guide below, for installation, setup and tuning instructions. Remember, last chance to pre-pay in the next few hours only. 7S3_User_Guide.zip
  8. It's official. All pre-pay customers can now download PNW in the ZIP file format. Please visit FSS, check your account history and you will find the link active. We will enable the FSS2Go link as soon as our testing confirms the file download. Be sure to exercise your bragging rights! Finally, please, please - use a Download Manager on the ZIP file which supports resuming. DownThemAll seems to provide the most consistent result. Enjoy the weekend!
  9. Hello all, It gives me great delight to announce that FTX PNW will be available as a download purchase on Sunday 28th February AEST. After 14 months of development, the region will raise the bar yet again, and marks the Orbx debut region for North America. The price will be AU$54.95 for the download edition. The DVD edition will be available by the end of March for AU$64.95 - all our resellers will accept pre-orders for the DVD. FSS will accept pre-pay for the download edition from tomorrow morning which gives early buyers a 24 hour exclusive period. Orbx will release 1S2 Darrington and 7S3 Twin Oaks airports soon after the release of PNW. Those airports will also be available on DVD by the end of March. Thanks everyone for your enthusiasm and support for PNW - we know you will love flying there!
  10. Hello all, The master RTM build is now being uploaded to the CDN. Whilst this is the second last step before release to pre-pay, I must give you a heads up. Step 1 - Basically, Australian ISPs offer very poor and unreliable upload speeds, sometimes as low as 30-50KB/sec. This means the upload is going to take at least 10 hours, and if it fails, we resume and hold our breath. Adrian is going to have a long, sleepless night, that much I do know. Step 2 - our testing team need to download the 4.21GB installer and give us 3-greens that it's all working. That's another 3-4 hours. So ... things are tight, but I wanted to be upfront and honest with you guys - if all goes to plan we may even release to pre-pay earlier than planned. If it does not, then there may be a slight delay. Either way, we are done with the product and now are playing a waiting game. Can I ask a favour though? Please can you refrain from continual "when?" and "how long?" posts. I have explained it all in black and white above, and now you are in the picture. Thanks in advance everyone! Yours in updates.
  11. Hello all, Here's the FTX PNW User Guide for you all to read while you watch the countdown timer FTX_NA_BLUE_PNW_User_Guide.zip
  12. We're pleased to announce that the SP3.001 patch is now available for immediate download. Windows XP and Vista customers - please note you need to have Microsoft .NET frame 3.5 installed for the SP3.001 patch to work. The link is on the SP3.001 download page. >http://fullterrain.com/hotfixes.html Thanks everyone for your continued support and the patience you've shown while we worked hard to get this patch to be as robust as possible. Currently there is no specific user guide written for the SP3.001 patch, but I have included a download to the SP3 Australia DVD user guide, which goes some way to explain how FTX Central works. If there are any support issues regarding SP3.001 or the .NET 3.5 installation, please log them in the payware support forum, not in this topic. Enjoy! Who should apply SP3.001? - If you have purchased downloadable FTX Australia Region packs (BLUE/GOLD/GREEN RED) - If you have purchased the FTX Australia SP2 (Avalon Edition) DVD - If you have purchased the FTX Australia SP3 DVD (Including the REV4 update version) - In other words - EVERYONE!!! Fixes and enhancements in the SP3.001 patch: - Massive landclass update to all downloadable purchased FTX AU BLUE/GOLD/GREEN/RED regions - Many landclass updates to address reports by customers since the SP3 DVD release - Many new textures added to AU RED to address transitional areas between other regions - Added missing landclass and waterclass files around YMAV Avalon Airport - Fixed issues with default landclass showing near Uluru and many other areas - Fixed sandy airport underlays showing at YBCS and many other airports - Updates FTX Central to Build 1020 with new features and options - Updates FTXConfigurator.exe to build 8.1.0.3 - Adds Scenery Library Insertion Point tool to FTX Central - Fixes black gable markers and YMLT and YLIL which recurred after the SP3 DVD - Fixes some incorrect textures in Orbx object libraries - Fixed the new roads/traffic class not showing at YCNK Cessnock Airport
