  1. Yes, the first thing you need to do is fix the missing default file entries in your scenery library.
  2. Hi If all your Orbx products are in an external library, you could leave them, and just do a full uninstall and reinstall of the simulator. Then run the sim once and shut it down. Then Open Orbx Central and go to settings\help and run the sync simulator function.
  3. Hi Peter Your attached scenery.cfg file is in extreme disarray and also has no Orbx products in it. Your Orbx products seem to all be installed outside the simulator, and they also do not have any affect on your elevation issues. Even Vector for P3Dv5 does not address airport elevation correction as did the v4 version. So if you are using the AEC tool in Vector, you have the wrong version installed. One of your main problems that I see with your scenery.cfg is that when you rewrote the paths to all the default Base entries, you forgot to add the two most important entries at the bottom of the list, they are the "Default Scenery" and the "Default Terrain" as shown in the below image. I also see that the default numbered Base entries are listed upside down/backwards. Number 1107 should be at the top and 0000 at the bottom. Also I see you have many non default scenery items mixed amongst the default Named items, which should not be done. This will be a start to fixing your issues, so after you have rectified as much of the above as you can, Please post a copy of your “scenery.cfg” file and the “add-ons.cfg” and the “scenery_add-ons.xml” files found at C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5.
  4. Hi I have all installed in v5.3 and no issues. Please try this. Go to C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5, and delete the “add-ons.cfg” and the “scenery_add-ons.xml” file. Then start the simulator to rebuild the new files, and close the sim. Then open Orbx Central and go to settings/help and run the sync simulator function. Then restart the sim and click yes to the add-ons you want activated as they are presented, and the list will be updated.
  5. Hi I am out of ideas at this point, so if it was me, I would be doing a complete reinstall of the simulator and start fresh.
  6. Hi I also have the same mesh product installed and it is not the problem. As @CaptainLens suggests above, please check that your mesh resolution setting in P3D is at 5m.
  7. Hi Phil, welcome to the forums Your products can only be installed by using the app called Orbx Central, which does require the internet, unfortunately there is no other way, On the Orbx Direct website where you purchased them, there is a green "Get Central" button which when clicked on will download and install the Orbx Central app, as on the product page it states, General You will need Orbx Central to download and install this product. Orbx Central runs on Windows 7+, macOS and Linux. An internet connection is also required.
  8. Hi Ken In that case, you can go to C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5, and delete the “add-ons.cfg” and the “scenery_add-ons.xml” file. Then start the simulator to rebuild the new files, and close the sim. Then open Orbx Central and go to settings/help and run the sync simulator function. Then restart the sim and click yes to the add-ons you want activated as they are presented, and the list will be updated.
  9. Hi 1. Yes the installation scheme is fine. 2. Yes, this is correct, and they will also show in the P3D in game add-ons menu. 3. No, the sort order does not matter with add-ons.cfg items. 4. Your add-ons.cfg is fine. Your scenery.cfg is also fine...except two entries are unchecked\deactivated, one being the default "Western North America" and the second being the FS Global 2020 Africa mesh. So please check\activate the default "Western North America" in your scenery library. 5. Your screenshot is far too dark for me to see anything, please post screenshots that are in the light of day.
  10. Are you saying that with the sim paused the light keeps flickering the black box? The file would be a default sim file, so you would need to ask Lockheed Martin, and it would probably have more than just that light controlled by it. What are your PC specs and settings please?
  11. Thanks Enzo We are also very happy that it is now working for you. I did know about the VPN solution, but John beat me to it, John Dow is Orbx Staff and he has also provided the same advice to many many others before you. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
  12. Hi Enzo Thanks John Dow did warn and advise you about using a VPN in your previous topic linked below, but you chose to ignore his friendly advice.
  13. Thanks Enzo The VPN solution was also brought to your attention by John Dow in one of your previous posts on this topic. It also confirms that it is not an Orbx Central, or server issue.
  14. Hi I did some testing at KLAS and cannot replicate your findings, but it is definitely not an Orbx product issue. I would say it is a graphics card or driver problem. Does the black square go away if you pause the sim for a few moments? Below are my P3Dv5.3 settings.
  15. Hi No, but you will need to install the product called the "Orbx Libraries", they will install into your existing Prepar3D directory. You can find the product called the "Orbx Libraries" if you click on "My Products" in Orbx Central and scroll to near the bottom of the list.
  16. Hi You will need to click on the green "Get Central" button to download and install the app called Orbx Central.
  17. Hi Ken No, if you delete that folder, it will also delete the .xml file that is required for P3D to see it.
  18. Hi Ken You could either use the installer of the product to uninstall it. Or you could locate it in the Windows Apps list and uninstall it. Or you could navigate to the actual folder shown, which is C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Ecosystem...and delete it. Or, simply uncheck\deactivate it in the P3D addons list (not the scenery library list, which is your image above).
  19. Hi Milan Please use the below link to submit a ticket for refund. https://support.orbxdirect.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
  20. Hi I would first go to C:\users\name\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5 and delete the Shaders folder. Then restart the sim to allow it to build a new set of Shaders.
  21. Hi, welcome to the forums Please see the below topic and compare the images against yours. You could also please post a copy of your “scenery.cfg” file and the “add-ons.cfg” and the “scenery_add-ons.xml” file found at C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5, so we can confirm it is installed properly. Please note: Do not open the files and copy and paste the contents, just attach the files.
  22. Hi Thanks That's totally your choice and just fine, but as we have found, it is not the Orbx servers that are the problem. It would make no sense for any company to allow server issues to affect their reputation.
