Catalina Adventure part three - The departure
paulb replied to Jack Sawyer's topic in Community Screenshots
Clearly not a problem in your kitfox Jack . -
I knew it would be a P-51 Iain! I saw that one (BBD) flying in real life at Duxford (2003?).

Great shots. I see that you have borrowed my car
-

announcement What we are working on - 2022

I would support that. Although I have a number of sims, MSFS and XP11 are currently my 'go to' ones. TE in XP11 is excellent. I have all of GB, Washington State, Spain, Balearics and Canary Islands as well as the airports. I was delighted to see that XP12 appears to be more of an 'improved' XP11 rather than a totally different sim. Once a 'final' version of XP12 is released then I will purchase it. I have no problem in paying a 'small' charge for existing XP11 scenery being converted to work 100%. Thanks for all your good work . -
Catalina Adventure part three - The campsite

Glad that you found somewhere to camp Jack . Now that is seriously long grass. Is anyone there to help you with mowing? -
Excellent flight again Gerold. I always like the fact that you include a map .
-
Very impressive Jon . What add-ons are you using?

As I started this thread about five weeks ago, an update seemed appropriate . Well, apart from family, jobs around the house and so on, MSFS has been my main focus. I have tried it almost every day and spent time on the internet looking for answers to the many questions that I had. I think that I am finally getting there! I still have much to learn and explore, but the basics are now second nature to me. It is a great simulator with amazing graphics. So, the point of this post is - perseverance. Even getting older, it's surprising what one can still learn. Yes, often two steps forward and one step back, but the effort can bring rewards.

My best guess would be KFHR Friday Harbor based on San Juan Island , -

I saw your 'confused' emotion in response to my reply Jack. I thought that you were talking about the airport.
-
I think a few of us would like to visit Switzerland in that weather Gerold .
-
Thanks Landon . Same here. Summer does look inviting.
-
I knew I should have flown in a different livery Gerold!
-
Good that I saw Part 1 before Part 2 Jack! Now you have found somewhere to camp .
-
Very nice, but where are you going to camp Jack?
-
A first class set of shots
-
Glad that you liked them John .
-
Many thanks Landon . Much appreciated.
-
Thanks Jack . There is a F-15 available for MSFS, but I went for the F-14 (from the same developer) as the reviews were a bit better.
-
Thanks Jack . It could well be the same airport just converted to work in MSFS.
