veyron
Shots taken from my flight from Palm Springs to Heathrow. I'm actually unable to end it completely due to the time needed to reach London and the OOM errors encountered with P3D 2.5. ^^ Enjoy ;-)

VH-KDK
Wonderful set of shots. Impressive shots mate , gotta love those lay flat seats in Business Class . :D Cheers Brad What incredible interior detail. Probably the only way most of us will get to see how the other half travel. Anyway cattle class is a bit more roomy in SQ.
luckyb52
Stunning shots! Surprised you got OOM errors with P3D 2.5... I thought it had super-efficient memory management capabilities Best, Lucky /////////////////
Adam Banks
I'm actually unable to end it completely due to the time needed to reach London and the OOM errors encountered with P3D 2.5. ^^Fantastic series. #2 is amazing! Pity about the OOM at the end. Puts me off the PMDG777 (I was wondering whether to get it). Anything in the PMDG options you could turn down a bit? Adam. Stillwater
Fantastic shots, though you nearly earned the title "Mr. Tailstrike". Fantastic series. #2 is amazing! Pity about the OOM at the end. Puts me off the PMDG777 (I was wondering whether to get it). Anything in the PMDG options you could turn down a bit?Adam. I was not brave enough to start that bird yet. But I would sound the same horn as Adam: You should definetively deactivate the exterior cameras on your cockpit displays. And if there is a way to disable the passanger cabin graphics, consider that (you do not open the cockpit door anyway, do you, captain?). Hope you can end these flights more satisfying soon! anfield ace
Is this the Capt. Sim 777, or the new PMDG 777, for P3D v.2+ Cheers,
veyron
It is the captain sim's version (1.6) wich is largely sufficient for me. I'm totally disagree with the marketing's politic of PMDG to pay again full price for those who already own their 777 for FSX. It's a kind of scam. I also can't afford 90€ again for this plane. Too expensive!!
Boss1
Great shots of the Captain Sim 777. I am having a hard time trying to decide which 777 to buy for P3D. How is version 1.6 on FPS?

Too expensive!!I hadn't realised it was the CS version! Are there any other aircraft or VC tweaks you can apply to reduce the CPU load? I agree on the lousy PMDG politics - but aren't CS doing the same thing? I have the FSX 777 version, but am expected to pay for a P3D version. Or did I get that wrong? Adam. veyron
Hi, The 3D cabin in the CS777 is separated from the cockpit. The framerate is very good and the VAS used in P3D2.5 is inferior in comparaison with the PMDG. About the prices here is a table showing the differences between CS and PMDG for a 777-300. PMDG is too expensive for me.
Benny
GREAT shots!!!! I don't remember that the CS777 look that good, I have version 1.3. I got some liveries today and got the 1.4 & 1.6 update. I hope it look better then I remember... Ben
Sammy H
I fly both version CS and PMDG and like both equally. I like the Avionics of the PMDG obviously but I think that CS has put more time into there exterior model and all the bells and whistles for "Eye Candy". Guess it is all in the simmers preference and what they like, as for me I like a little of both which is why I fly both of them in the -200 and -300. I have not received and OOM error yet except with the PMDG -300 in FSX going into LAX during a VATSIM event and had about 10 other PMDG 777 appear that I did not change or "X" out on VATSIM traffic. Fantastic shots BTW
