The shorelines with all their sandbanks and unique river formations nearby Gustavus are just beautiful and i fully enjoyed my first flights around this nice little location! This shot was taken just before sunset - so: Time to land - and with a versatile aircraft such as the Catalina, why not doing so on water once a while?! Gustavus as well as all the entire Southern Alaska and Pacific Fjords areas always offer some most unique flying-experience at all these many rather remote places and sceneries.
