To cap it all

After bouncing the EA-7 down several different runways around the Orbx world and trying many different things including finally reading the manuel, I decided to look at the M$F$ support forum. Within less than a minute found out that I had to change the flight model to modern.

So here is my second excursion in this wonderful little plane.

1.

Part of the Drzewiecki Washington scenery is KCGS College Park.

2.iRFCDWV.jpg

The Paint Branch Elementary School is on the left but the community centre is not a grand building like depicted here on street view GE.

3.

Here is the NOAA Centre for Weather and Climate Prediction.

4.

Approaching the United States Capitol from The Mall.

5.

Looking back down The Mall with The Washington Monument in the distance.

Soon after it went rather quiet.

Who forgot to change the tanks over and ran one dry? I know just who to blame although he is not in DC at the moment.

I landed safely on East Capitol St E and 10th St SE.

I like the Optica a great plane and it will be interesting to see what plane Orbx offers us next.

Many thanks to those who have worked on it.

Thanks for those shots mate, you’ve convinced me to purchase her.

Cheers

Graeme :)

Dear Martyn,

On the last shot, It's a good idea to take the opportunity to mow grass to enlarge the runway you found out!... It's just in case it happens again, isn't it :P?

PS #1: do not hesitate to make the runway wide enough because I think Jack will be tempted soon to do the same landing with his legendary 747 ... And leave the trees, he will take care of them then -_-!

PS #2: Great shots Martyn and enjoy the bird!!!!

Cheers :D !

Fantastic shot, Martyn and thanks for the narration.

Good that no unauthorized crowd is runnning around the Capitol or at your chosen landing strip.

Glad you liked them Gerold.

That crowd was far from unauthorized but they ran away when they saw me coming.;)

You won't be disappointed Graeme, it is a wonderful plane.

A bit late with the weather but it was a mild 6C last night but very windy.

Did you get any snow in the mountains?

2C tonight, still and clear.

Thanks Joe, I will get on to the local council about the grass.

I don't think the residents would take too kindly to a 747 landing in their street though, they are a bit touchy about that sort of thing.:o
