Hi all,

this is the Aerocommander 500 "Shrike" taking off at Key West. This was how it all started with these aircraft series and

the Aerocommander 690B I used in my shots at Valdez was one of the latest. Production ended in 1985 with approx. 2000 total (Wikipedia).

Watch that road on the left side with all the palms...it's wonderful.

Thank you very much for viewing!

Cheers

Super shot Andreas.  I wish we had the plane in MSFS.:(

Glad you like it John . On the long run they will adjust most of the aircraft for MSFS, only a question of time...

Ted Smith was a genius designer based in Bethany Oklahoma.  The Aero Commander became a jet finally produced in Israel but the rest went to Rockwell and the great Robert Hoover showed us what the plane could do.

Thank you OND. If it flies similar to the simulator in reallife, both the 500 and the 690, than it's outstanding aircraft.

Didn't find any comment why they stopped the production in 1985.
