renault
I tend to use XPlane 11 as an "experimental playground" for my hobby of tweaking and developing ideas in lighting engine and visual rendering technology. So much so that I sometimes forget to turn things on. Months ago I played around with a little fog rendering script I wrote that was elevation dependent. Realized after my collection of Tenerife screenshots that it was off So here's just the one and "a friend" with it on. Its the joy of getting old .... you get to rediscover neat things over and over again. Keeps me young Cheers Pete PS - clouds are also a "work in progress" based on the same principles. lifejogger
Excellent shot Pete!!!!! It sounds like you spend a lot of time getting your screenshots to look a certain way.. Me, I just hit the screenshot key and I am done.

Thanks John I'm a "v" key kind of guy , much more than an armchair pilot. But my real interest is digital rendering science and I really enjoy that part of it . In many ways this is a medium for me to indulge my interest. The real challenge and fascination for me is that everything is done in real time, as I am flying not post processing. So that is what really intrigues me But then I get enthralled with the flying , so overall I have a really enjoyable time with all the sims in my virtual hanger.
