LOWI MSFS Update 5 The Runway have hills

Yes I have this too. Big high ramps all over the airport including on the main runway and around the taxiways. Ruins a great scenery.

I only bought Orbx LOWI today and thought it was a fault with the product. But according to your post, the ramps only started today with FS2020 Update #5.

Hopefully Orbx can patch this soon, as it's my favourite destination in the sim!

Same here: the « handcrafted by asobo » lowi is OVER the Orbx Lowi: i can see doubled hangars and terminal. And yes, strange rwy and twy... probably an exclude problem.

note all works with Gaya Lowz. I think is is linked with « handcrafted asobo » airport (as is LOWI).could jarrad take a look ?

I do not have the problem being observed by some here.

I have the Asobo LOWI in my Official folder and Orbx LOWI in my Community folder.

I can only off the following suggestions:

Remove Asobo LOWI

Check you have got Bing data set to On

Delete Rolling Cache content

Delete your  Content xml folder (this is in your Packages/Local Cache folder. It will rebuild it when you next run MSFS)

@Jon Clarke thank you for the advise. Will try it out and let you know.

@Jon ClarkeThank you so much! It worked! I have even not deleted Asobo LOWI. Just perfect. Simulator runs now even smoother. These steps were the solution for me.

@Nick Coopersame Problem with Rolling Cache Off. Maybe some difference between Steam and MS Store? If i delete Asobo LOWI from the Official Folder i have no Issue, all looks fine.

Thanks.

There clearly is a difference between the three versions.

I wonder if you could put the Asobo version back, run MSFS and see where

its entry is placed in the content.xml file, in relation to that of the Orbx LOWI.

Whichever it is, if the problem comes back, try the other way around.

of course, I am only asking you because I have already tried this in my MS Store

copy and it made no difference.

I can't try it in the Steam one, because I don't have it and you do nat have to go to this trouble

if you would prefer not to

Having said all of that, if it works with the Asobo version gone, at least you have

a solution.:)

The only workaround for me is to delete the Asobo Lowi from Official Folder but i hope Orbx can update this for Steam Users without deleting Asobo Lowi from the Official Folder ?

Many thanks, I see that the relative positions are the same as mine, even though I don't see the error.

Hopefully there will be an answer to this, because even in this topic you can see some with the problem

and some who had it and now it's fixed and of course, those of us who do not have it at all.:)

My guess is that it is an unintended consequence of another change, but which one is for Asobo to know.

@Nick Cooper OK really strange Issue. I hope that the Updates in the Future are better from Asobo. I have many new Bugs, i cant switch my Liverys, the A320 Mod of flybywire are broken (Stable Version). I hope i find not more bugs.

Thanks for the very good support here. Best Regards from Germany, Sven Rasel

Broken Mods after update to official program is not the fault of Asobo.  Its upto the Mod author to fix the mod to work with latest stable version.

I have now updated to 1.10.7.0 and Orbx' LOWI is running without any issues. It was not necessary to make any adjustments.

Maybe it is of importance that I'm using an English speaking version of the MSFS Base Edition via the MS Game Pass on an English speaking Windows 10 install. Just mentioning this, because I have seen that some of the users having problems are using the German speaking version.

The problem only surfaced AFTER installing 1.10.7.0 not BEFORE.  Removing the official LOW folder solved the issue for me.

However I am seeing some very strange lights on the approach to 08, almost like the lights are double and are high in the sky.....very weird.  I wonder if this is an Asobo issue or a problem/conflict with the Orbx LOWI scenery.

Yes AFTER, have I written anywhere BEFORE? So to make it clear, I had no issues before the update and have no issues after the update.

Those strange lights have been reported already some months ago and are there also with the default MSFS LOWI. Actually they are at many places all over the world.

I flew Innsbruck all the time before 1.7.10 and Orbx Insbruck with no ramp/level problems.

Now there are wseveral around the airport. At least 2 on the main runway. And as you leave the runway wat the west end there is a 2m ramp drop down to the taxiway.

And another one on the taxyway.
