After I climbed and turned southbound I tuned the YKM vortac (116.0), centered on 178 TO, centered the HSI bug, punched HDG and ALT on the AP then leaned back and watched the scenery. Gear up at Wenatchee. A look at the town before turning southbound. Needles centered and it's 'Look Ma, no hands' time. Part of the Army's 'Yakima Training Center' fondly named "Yakistan".
