A glorious set Jean Marc.

You have a fantastic collection of planes in your hangar as well as some silly pilots who chose to fly in Arctic conditions in open cockpits!:ph34r::ph34r::o:lol:

Hats, or flying helmets off to them for their toughness.:D

oh yes they are strong men in the Artic : no needs for helmet :P

An interesting point Jack and they are popular up there.

Apparently it reduces weight and drag so more speed and more carrying capacity.

A broken tail wheel/skid can be easily repaired and is less of a problem than a nose wheel failure in the middle of nowhere.

Maybe there are more reasons that the knowledgeable can throw some light on.

We are currently in the transition from winter to summer, best time ever, cooler, windy, blue sky, sunny, school vacations, lots of tourists and parties everywhere!

Oh that's amazing!!. I live in the central valley in the town of Alajuela about 7-10 min away from MROC :D

Planes pass very often over my roof :wub:
