YAMBA1
Departing from Queenstown NZ , I followed lake Wakatipu until the entrance of lake Rere . Climbed to 9000ft to cross the southern Alps of Mount Aspiring National Park and kept on the right side of Mont Christina. Once over the ranges I made a U turn over the Tasman Sea and entered the Milford Sound . I used Active Sky and the weather over the Alps deteriorated badly. High Mountains , very windy, and no visibility. I entered Milford Sound under heavy rain. which is a difficult landing under any condition . But miracle as soon as I landed the the sun came out, with a few drops or rain. My story had then a happy Ending . I would like to share with you this adventure Cheers Charles

Stillwater
What a fantastic flight & shots, Carlos. They look so real - and even with reflections appearing on the good-ol-Maule.
ikbenik
Great serie of shots of a very scenic journey and a pitty for you to land at Milford Sound in overcast and rainy conditions. But is lifelike and adds a natural environment, well done.

olderndirt
One of the great things about Orbx NZSI scenery is that route from Queenstown to Milford - too bad your enroute weather was so crappy.

The en-route part , was a real challenge . No viz, Not enough altitude to avoid the mountain range I followed a valley and hoped for the best. I have to admit I had a few close calls , but then ,the excitement is leaving dangerously ( but sitting comfortably at my desk!)
