Leaving Stavanger for Sandefjord Tor.  Stavanger has evocations of WW11 that are still strong in my generation. And also the Norwegian resistance was thought of as very brave and committed far away downunder during those years.

In World War 11, ze Germans are featuring the dreaded, CO2-neutral, unicorn mounted rainbow cavalry.

Yes Jack:  it took me a devilish long time to learn to land it consistently.  In the end I went back to my RW days of power and attitude; and using a little rudder to keep it straight on short final (Torque to me!)    Mind you land too hard and you find that you have torn a wheel or blown a tire...that's how good the model is.  Yet as it is STOL the landing has to be firm, but no bounce.  Oh woe, you can see what it has been like to learn.

Now that I have reasonable control,  I find flying jets more than a little ho-hum.

Yes Lars, and there are still some cavalry lurking on the runways, and unicorns run wild as they were released after the war.
