I assume you have XP11 because that is the sim used in the pics? If you have then you need to open Output/ Preferences/X-Plane.prf (open the prf with Notepad). Scroll to the very bottom of the prf and you will see some entries with the preface of "renopt" as in the sample below: renopt_HDR_antial 2 renopt_aurora 0 renopt_boats 1 renopt_comp_texes 1 renopt_deer_birds 1 renopt_draw_3d_04 4 renopt_effects_04 3 renopt_fire_ball 0 In the entry for :renopt_aurora change the 0 to a 1 as in the sample below: renopt_aurora 1 Then save. Be aware that you will start seeing the Aurora almost everywhere so it becomes unrealistic. When you have finished aurora flying, just change the renopt_aurora back to

I am still in P3D4 but surely I will purchase in a few months XP11 and therefore I keep preciously your all information !! thank you very much (I try to resist to fly only in P3D4 and using so many planes and scenery addons I got...with XP11 I would have to start from 0 addon ..... but my resistance is limited )
