About 120 miles north of Sydney we flew over this 'muck'

Surprisingly as we flew over Sydney itself it cleared - but not for long.

Edit: The last two shots, for some reason, have gotten out of order but 'you get the picture'.

Always interesting to fly an actual real world route and see how good one can stick to it in the flight simming world :) Looks like you handled the job nicely, and despite the weather. Great bunch of shots!

Just picked up the 717 myself, don’t know how to fly it yet

Greg, the best way to learn is do a search in You Tube.  There are a lot of B717 tutorials there.  Some good, some excellent.

Cheers

You bet, I’ve watched Jordan Kings Tutorial so far, before that I just tried to wing it, :( I thought it was going to be like the 737, to me it’s very much different, but I do enjoy the challenge

Nice Bruce, I like the pano.  I need to spend more time in the 717, soon.  And I didn't know Air Force One was there today, I thought President Trump was on his way back to D.C.  I always like seeing Air Force One at this airport it's a nice touch.

Welcome to Canberra Bruce! ( 2'C at the moment, raining today 12'C)

Great selection of shots. The 717 is beautiful and sleek. Nice reflections.

I use YSCB as my home base with my B737 on scenario start up.

The well known Airforce Two aircraft seems to regularly leave CBR at around 4:00PM local so I have often queued up behind it on R35.

I've recently purchased GSX (as I see you also have). Having a ball setting up the parking and preferred service providers for all of the Orbx airports.

Cheers,

Aussie

I was actually in your neck of the woods recently.  I spent 10 days at Bowral in April.  It was hot!  Most days were high 20's low 30's (centigrade that is).  We had another 10 days in Brisbane with similar temps before flying direct Brisbane/Dunedin.  Bit of a shock getting off the plane at midnight to just about freezing temps.  Apparently Bowral's temps plummeted to below 10 after we left.
