Recommended Posts

This is the first of two posts showing a flight from Strasbourg to Bilbao in an Airbus A359 of Frenchbee.

1.fb1.jpg

Nothing too exciting to see at LFST Entzheim so we get straight into the flight and over the A352 at Duppigheim.

2.fb2.jpg

Climbing past Krautergersheim.

3.fb3.jpg

Now at Mittelbergheim with the Vosges Mountains through the haze.

4.fb4.jpg

Close to Rombach-le-Franc

5.fb5.jpg

La Croix-aux le Mines is bottom left.

6.fb6.jpg

Over the Upper Moselle Valley at Ramonchamp and the Tête du Midi

7.fb7.jpg

LFSX St Sauveur AB at Luxeuil.

8.fb8.jpg

The Ognon River in the Vallerois-le-Bois area.

9.fb9.jpg

Further down the Ognon at Besancon.

10.fb10.jpg

Bourbon-Lancy on the Loire River.

11.fb11.jpg

Limoges on the Vienne River, a town I have passed through a long time ago.

12.fb12.jpg

The Dordogne at Montcaret.

13.fb13.jpg

Marmande and the Garonne.

I hope you enjoyed this flight over France.

The second part to follow later.

Wonderful tour Martyn!  I love the countryside and never really considered the A359.  What a cool looking plane and livery!  Hope to see the landing soon especially since I love Bilbao.  Oh, and unfortunately I don't speak French, so what does your title translate to?
