Fully loaded the old SAAB took a while to get off the runway.

3.fk3.jpg

HD engaged in the AP at a random 230 degrees.

4.fk4.jpg

The Fortescue's Metal Cloud Break Mine.

5.fk5.jpg

YFDF can just be made out under the nacelle, the sheer size of the mine can clearly be seen .

6.fk6.jpg

YBRY and Yandi Mine.

7.fk7.jpg

Some of the rock formations of The Pilbara

8.fk8.jpg

YANG and the West Angeles Mine.

9.fk9.jpg

Great series Martyn! That rock formation in shot 7 is quite something - it's amazing what nature does. :)

Well, now that you have your own personal plane, I don't think that Gerold stands a chance with the lady in red! ;)

Thanks Paul.

I will be fighting them off with my SAAB named after me.B)

No...noooo! First we have images of Jack dancing back in the 70's to Stayin' Alive and now Gerold prancing around in a red dress? Please, stop this madness before it spirals out of control!:D:lol:

I was not aware that this was a philosophic forum here. Though, obviously simming with Orbx scenery does have this consequence, naturally!

Well there you go Gerold, you have learned something else today.

The forum is full of surprises, some good and some bad!

Well, I see Orbx and that's all I need to know, Orbx = quality!

Yeah, I didn't choose my words very well did I.

Compared to Europe for example the scenery, as good as it is (just look at the rock formation in #7), is pretty sparse.

I did a bus tour of the Red Centre back in 1983. We stopped on the side of the road for tea to be brewed up and there was nothing but flat rocky sandy ground into the distance in all directions. I took a photo and a Canadian man asked me why I took it as there was nothing there. I said to him that is exactly why I took it. There are not many places where the scenery is so featureless.:)

That's a lotta red stuff Martyn, great shots of it and your 340! :)  I hear Carenado is going to make a 340, that would be sweet.

Thank you Adam, yes I heard that today too along with the Fokker 50. It will be great to have a slightly more sophisticated 340 as long as it is not too hard for me to work out.
