Mallard
Listening to a Kenny Rogers interview earlier on RTE - and of course they played Islands in the stream. Well - I changed it a bit to Islands in the sun... Anyway - I must be getting old. Not only, that I'm listening to Kenny Rogers interviews, but also that I found this plane languishing on my harddrive for nearly a year now. Never installed it, never flew it since buying it back in November of 2015. So I had to take it for a quick test: Piper Seneca V on a flight from Hervey Bay up to Heron Island past Lady Musgrave and then back to Lady Elliot Island: The tip of Fraser Island in the background The chain of atolls leading up to Heron Island in sight Passing over Lady Musgrave Reef Fitzroy Reef One Tree Island Reef The pax didn't get to see quite the sights that I had from the cockpit... Next time I should probably keep a bit more to the side of the atols Heron Island and Reef Buzzing Lady Elliot Island Ticking over Like this plane. Like it a lot! Will be interesting to compare it with the Seneca ii - which I also found on my harddrive! Bought it at the same sale, and also never installed it... More or less cropped DX10s Cheers Mallard

bernd1151
Superb shots, Mallard and it's a shame that you detected the Seneca V only after a year in your virtual hangar. Maybe you should take a stroll there more often, who knows, what other gems might still be hidden in there

VH-KDK
Excellent set Mallard. The Seneca V is an excellent plane, I did actually fly mine before it vanished into the dark corner on the hangar. Nothing wrong with Kenny Rogers either. 3 hours ago, Jack Sawyer said: Awesome shots! Where is this? What part of the world? It's beautiful! Jack, this is Queensland, Australia. I would say that the island scenery is OZx.

And it's quite a bit bigger... Let's see if I can get it into the virtual skies this weekend... 7 hours ago, Jack Sawyer said: Awesome shots! Where is this? What part of the world? It's beautiful! If you want to depart from an Orbx airport, head due north from Hervey Bay (or NNE from Bundaberg) in Queensland. It's a short 130 km / 80 mls flight to Lady Elliot Island - which is part of the OZx scenery. You can also depart directly from there, if you want to. The other atolls are - in the case of Heron Island - up to 100 km / 55 mls due NW. Heron Island is also part of one of the OZx packs. Musgrave and the other beautifull atolls are by Richard Bui and can be found here in the Community Scenery Addons part of the forum: He included some airport codes so that one can depart directly from the islands - but you'll need an amphibian / floatplane or a helicopter as there's no place for runways on these little bits of coral Cheers Mallard

andy1252
Lovely shots Mallard! And I'll also confess to rushing out to buy aircraft and sceneries that then sit unmolested for ages. But I draw the line at Kenny Rogers interviews <grin>
