AnkH
Some pictures from my evening flight with the Piper Malibu Mirage from Carenado. This flight was to test the PTA settings from JV (thanks for sharing!). Some of the shots show how PTA can further enhance the P3D experience, simply amazing. The flight was IFR, flightlevel 160, took about 4.5h and I used real weather. One of the best Carenado birds in my eyes. Almost no bugs and lovely visuals. Boarding... The VC is extremely nice. Lovely place to "work"... Ready to go... No words needed to describe the beauty of the KEGE scenery... ... A first glimpse of what the PTA tool is capable of seen here at the horizon Nice passenger view... There we go. PTA at its best. Never seen P3D more beautiful. Besides cropping and adding black bars, this one is (like the rest) completely stock, simple "V" directly out of the sim. Impressive... Still nice passenger views ;-) Almost a little bit romantic... Then it was time to enlighten the dark... Already in approach to Palm Springs, meanwhile in the complete dark... lights. lights. lights. And... final. This approach and landing was not my best, but who cares? ;-) Passing by the terminal... ...to the final parking. That's all folks. Addons: ORBX FTX Global, ORBX FTX Vector, ORBX Eagle County, ORBX Palm Springs, Carenado Piper Malibu Mirage, FS Global Real Weather, REX4 TD, Prepar3d Tweak Assistant, UT2 (not seen here). robmw
Great shots, the latest PTA really does deliver the goods. Looking at your shots around dusk it's clear I'm having an issue though. I'm not seeing a nice graduation at the horizon but more of a hard band of grey. A recent version of PTA had this problem but the latest one was supposed to have fixed it. However I think my problem might be mixing texture sets between REX and FEX. Can you tell me which REX4 TD sky sets you are using? Thanks, Rob
