Stillwater
OK, that´s it. I have expected a good result when orbx announced making Germany a full fat region, but this immersion is more than that, really great. Hanover city: Could have some more POIs (like the opera house), but that is how it looks like. And this is how the arey looks where I live. Though the buildings are different, impression & colours are spot on. Let´s go, to explore the beauty (and the room for improvement) in GEN! KVSandleben
Indeed the Opera House is such a big building that is difficult to overlook. Would have liked to see it as well. Someday perhaps.

Jack Sawyer
Really beautiful shots, what a charming area to live! Do all the larger buildings have what looks like an enclosed courtyard like that? Very nice.

Mostly. That has it's pros and cons. I used to live in such a building block with my window to the back. You hear less of the street but if someone opens his window at night, the entire courtyard hears what is going on.

Waited so long... 14 hours ago, BradB said: We will expect some RL shots with the Ultralight Gerold . Cheers John That would be a project, just needing money (rare, but one can control it), predictable weather (rare, and you can´t control it), and faith (too many have gone lost recently). 13 hours ago, KVSandleben said: Indeed the Opera House is such a big building that is difficult to overlook. Do all the larger buildings have what looks like an enclosed courtyard like that? Very nice. Yes they have. I sit next to a window with a huge chestnut and a maple tree, just a green-brown wall to protect us from the sun. And hearing the neighbors wine glasses on the balconies on warm evenings is not a problem to me... 2 hours ago, Kasi31 said: Two great shots of your hometown! Thanks, Kasi. Jack Sawyer
Thanks guys, I have only seen tose kinds of buildings here in the states where there is an inside courtyard in office buildings, commercial stuff, not residential. I guess there would be pro's and cons but I happen to like the idea.
andy1252
Looks great Gerold! Shame there's no paint kits for the scenery - think of the fun adding your own house, and maybe yourself up a ladder or something!
