Returning into Germany North

While the last part of GEN is slowly finding its way onto my HD, I think it is time to return from Spain towards Germany. So let´s get ready in Barcelona...

... taxi to the 25R, and take off.

Unfortunately the sim´s ATC did not choose the 25L, so I can´t try the fit to reality...

OK, climbout, ...

... turn north, and here we are just before Marseille.

The real flight was just a bit off the airway to the south, you can find the round bay from the center of the sim screenie in the very left of the RL shot.

The alps are just one thing: Impressive.

And here we already arrive in Hannover from the south: Fairground just in front of the engine, the 3 km-long-Maschsee in the center and the airport to the right underneath the clouds.

Turning to final, ...

... check if the airport is still there, ...

... adjusting ...

... and here we are, into the 27R, hoping for a short remaining taxi time. And a short remaining download time.

I always love to see the mix of real and sim, they're so close.  Great set of both, loved it!

Did my best, Jack!

My friend, you know how difficult it is to get the right angles... First you need to find out the RL routing and push it into your ATC, with the plane computer to follow. Second you need luck with the departure and arrival routes the ATC is chosing. And then, well, the weather (though you can set the time to the same of RL, the clouds do not always match). And still the RL pilots sometimes get shortcuts which the simmer does not expect, to meet the mountains from the other side.

Challenges, challenges...

Excellent flight Gerold.

Hard to tell which are FS and which are RL, well done.

And a pleasure of a flight this was also. Or better: 2 pleasures of a flight and one pleasure of posting.

Indeed, the scenery becomes better and better, so we have to improve the RL photos also...

Thank you all for taking the time to comment!
