Fantasic scenery (Sylt is really improved vs OLC), angles and a brilliant choice of airplane - your screenies keep getting better and better, @BradB! Many people are currently on vacation up there, good that you join them (and I keep my fingers crossed you find a parking lot - no free one, for sure, as there is no free parking around).

Superb shots, John. Sylt btw is the most expensive holiday destination in Germany. Go there in a modern Porsche and you'll find that hundreds had the same idea ;)

... and you know: German cars are black, or, as a maximum of fantasy, dark grey.

PS: Clever parking these guys, you recognize the 80 % remaining lot between the tank and the local who left a meter next to the driver door for better gymnastics?

Something I never quite understood. Nothing really special on Sylt, the climate is abysmal, the landscape unspectacular.

Other places for the rich and wealthy like the Starnbergersee and Tegernsee are much more self-explanatory as a place of good living and holidays.

I've heard that "Matjes" are not so expensive on Sylt.  B)

I seem to have a reputation here on the forum ... but I am no big fan or expert on Matjes. Ask me for Labskaus https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Labskaus , and I´ll jump in.
