Not sure, what you are talking about. Since your OP from April 3rd Orbx has released two new North American sceneries for MSFS, namely KEYW (Key West) on April 16th and CYPD (Bella Coola) on May 14th. That's more than one NA scenery on average per month. Not bad IMO.

I object. Most default MSFS mountain peaks are much too rounded. This is a major complaint in many MSFS forums. I am sure that this new Orbx mesh will provide more realitically peaked peaks.

How should a "basic" ETA be advised, if the devs have to solve a beforehand unknown problem? And two weeks is not that long at all when it comes to software patches. I hate to say it, but I would understand, if a patch for a € 8.00 product is not on top of the devs' priority list. BTW, patience is a virtue.

Via Highway 20 I'd say. Bella Coola is not that remote. Trucks and Busses can be seen there.

Nick, since Orbx was officially involved in creating World Update 4 by contributing some of the updated airports and Orbx' partner Gaya by doing the upgraded cities (Paris?) it looks like at least Orbx and Gaya are working hand in glove with Asobo.

Please read posts #5 and #7 in this thread:

TE products in P3d and XP are based on special high quality areal imagery licensed by Orbx for its TE areas. Since MSFS is based on Bing I doubt that Orbx can use these arial imagery in MSFS. So we apparently have to live with Bing. Maybe there was a possibility to use custom areal imagery when Bing data are switched off within MSFS.

KMRY and KSBA are projects of two different developers.

IMO the change is very subtle. Don't mix up the "X" with the new logo like others did. The X is just the forum profile pic. In my above post from Feb 26 in this thread I have posted comparison shots of the old and the new logo. The difference is not that big me thinks.

I took this shot from our home looking to the southwest. You are actually flying more or less straight towards this "eagle" when doing the infamous LOC DME West approach to LOWI. From there the pattern at the mountainside looks a bit different though.
