Thanks Landon . Yes, before my son explained it all to me, I was thinking back to Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Blade Runner and others!
-
Very good . What will come next?
-
Thanks Jack . Well, who knows what is developing behind doors at the Skunk Works?
-
Thanks Calum . Well I did try to create an appropriate setting for the shots .
-
Thanks Don . My younger son tells me it features in a popular computer game called 'Halo' set in the 26th century.

Thank you sir! Indeed Martyn, it flies like a cross between a helicopter and a Harrier!
-
Nice shots Don . Ayers Rock is a good reminder of the real evolution of this planet.

Just beautiful Iain!

A Little Bit of B&W, A Little Bit of Color...

Nice idea Darryl. Quite artistic. I sometimes go B&W with my real life photography. -
Very shiny John. Nice shots from the Sunshine Coast

You show off the Airport well Jack. Nice flight.

Nice shots Martyn . If you want to try another airliner - the stock A320 is ok and lots of liveries for it, including Australian! More complex is the 'study level' FlyByWire A32NX ( very high quality freeware). BTW, I had a look, it's a short flight of about 7,400 miles to return your plane to Alaska

E for me. Some sunshine on the coast in a warmer climate might lift my spirit. -
Thanks Jack. I saw it but wasn't sure whether to download. I will give it a go!

Great shots at a great airport Jack . Is that the freeware EC 135?
-
Nice set Wayne . I too enjoy XPlane - especially with True Earth installed. Have a good break and relax.

I am really looking forward to the Beaver . I gave my C64 away, but still have an Atari ST in the loft!

Another video

I think the Anniversary release targeted for November includes a number (12?) of free new aircraft - Spruce Goose, DC3 and more. Also four new airports including Meigs! There is a video just showing the 40th Anniversary preview.

Thanks Martyn . Thank goodness MS kept that little airport. It actually closed in September 2020. Apparently, the landowner is Sallanches city hall which wanted to get the property back for its own use and argued that the hangars were old and unsafe.
-
Thank you Wayne . Short scenic flights seem to suit me best at the moment!
-
Many thanks Wayne . It was a nice scenic flight.

Thanks Wayne . Pretty sure that its the add-on which covers quite a large area.
