Make a short Testflight at Grand Canyon with the great B-25J MK II

from Roy Chaffin RCS Panels,to test working in DX10.

works great in Dx10,only Blade_blurred Textures must be reworked

http://www.roychaffin.com/rcs-panels.html

I found a few more tweaks were needed.

1) The gunsight relector

2) Cockpit glass

3) Prop_slow

It's a fantastic model all the same though!

Hey, my old paintscheme!

Nice shots, though the props seem to have disappeared altogether now?

Not with the ones I re-did! I'll post up a shot maybe.

Did you do any others for that B-25? There are a few that look like they have your "signature"

Are there any more information where/how to get these additional tweaks?

I could parcel them all up (with some instructions) and upload them somewhere it there's a demand for them!

@Bluebear - I have some screenshots of the tweaked version - is it OK to post them here or shall I start a new topic?

Thanks, BB ... here we go:

The "disappearing props" thing is an age-old FSX (transparency) problem with some legacy models. No problems over clear sky or ground:

... but as soon as you go over a cloud area, they disappear:

Here's the tweaked gunsight/reflector:

I'll parcel up my tweaked textures soon and add the link in this thread.

Thank you!

Yes, I painted the 'Bitch 'n Mitch' and 'Dreamy time gal', only to discover that RCS did not allow repaints. In the end, I sent them to Roy, and he included them in a later release.

I did two more, an RAAF version and another Corsican aircraft but I can't upload them anywhere.

By "can't" do you mean "not allowed"? Surely after all this time it'd be OK? I mean - it's hardly a new model is it?

If it's any help, I'll try and contact Roy myself if you think it's worth it.

Finding stuff on S.O.H. is a joke. It took me 2 solid hours to find the original (base) FS9 B-25 version ... then a smattering of semi-complete "additional" liveries/models - some of which needed files that don't live on S.O.H. What a mess!

Such a shame, as it really is a fantastic aircraft - and thoroughly deserves your repaints!
