Adam Banks
A mixed bag from my PMDG 777-300 "familiarity tests" over NZNI, NZSI. Another classic from PMDG. NZAA-NZCH NZCH-NZDN Dunedin arrival Size matters! I'm not too sure that a 777-300 would get out of NZQN in RL - the joy of FSX! Smaug breathing down your neck! Adam. Adam Banks
AAh Adam..you bring a tear to my eye..beautiful set from a homesick expatIf it's any consolation - my only travels outside NZ in the last 10 years have been to Queensland! I must say, though, that the approach to NZAA coming down the Waitakere ranges brought a tear to *my* eye! These days, I can't afford to travel - or [hardly] even buy ORBX scenery outside NZ, so I'm happy poodling around home. Adam.

Adam Banks
Thanks for the encouraging comments, chaps! Fantastic shots Adam, I must admit I have this myself but ive only had it out for a short while a bit complex for old Emmsie. It's not as bad as you think - particularly on the 300 version, as many of the options (like icing etc.) don't require any pilot input (they just have "auto"). A few clicks less - in RL and the FSX. All the Boeings appear to use the same sort of cockpit procedures (for good reason). I found that having used the 757, I could get to learn the 737 fairly quickly - then the change to the 777 wasn't too difficult. My problem is having to forget all that when I jump into an Airbus! I've used the centre console display to step through the checklists, which helps. Also - watch Froogle's videos: https://www.youtube.com/user/frooglesim. I download them, then have them running (on another PC in my case) as I mimic what he does in FSX. Adam.
