This is a Breguet Atlantic ,an anti-submarine warfare plane of the Italian Air Force,taking off from the air base in Sigonella, near Catania, the largest and most important U.S. base in Europe, and better known as "The Hub of the Med" for its strategical position in center of the Mediterranean sea. The scenery of the base is completely self-built by me, with the aim of integrating and blending its appearance as perfectly as possible with the textures of FTX global. Even if is still a work in progress, i think the result is not so bad.... Aerial view.. There is always at least one USN VR squadron detachment at Sigonella for logistics support. Often a C-130 det too. I loved going on det to Sigonella!
