Continuing down the Knik Glacier. 17. Inner Lake George with Colony Galcier on the left and Lake George Glacier faintly visible on the right. 18. 19. The Knik River. 20. Hunter Creek 21. 22. The town of Butte with its airport. The small hill is The Butte. 23. The Matanuska River is on the left with Pioneer Peak in the centre. 24. Palmer Flats. 25. Saw them regularly in the UK with various operators and then with IPEC here in OZ. I can remember reading about the IPEC staff arriving at work one Monday morning to see that the withdrawn Argosies had been bulldozed over the week end. They were not too happy.
